Starting in 2023, The Scared Amritsar Festival is back with its third edition of Music and Poetry. Teamwork Arts and Sleepwell created the Scared Amritsar Festival to celebrate the mystics and poets and their timeless verses. Feel the atmosphere of peace and harmonious ambiance and explore the rich and diverse culture of Amritsar.
The Amritsar Festival is all about music and poetry. It celebrates the city of Amritsar, which is famous for its strong spirit and rich culture. Amritsar is very important to Sikh people and Punjabi culture. People call it the 'Jewel' of Punjab, a region known for its five rivers. The city's name means 'Pool of Nectar', which comes from the holy water around the beautiful Golden Temple.

The Amritsar Festival offers a special 2.5-day experience for delegates, including:

Sacred Amritsar Festival Volunteer
- Age requirement: Applicants must be 18-30 years old as of February 1, 2024
- Preference is given to Amritsar residents or those with local accommodation
- Interview process: In-person for Amritsar residents, Skype/phone for others
- COVID-19 vaccination: Double vaccination mandatory, certificate required
- No travel or accommodation provided for out-of-town volunteers
- Training and interview process is mandatory
- Department assignments are final, but additional roles may be required
- Selected non-local volunteers must arrive by February 21, 2024 morning
- The Festival runs from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM, volunteers work from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- Meals provided during the festival
- Honorarium and certificate given for satisfactory participation
