How to reach Prayagraj?
- You can take the route by air, Train, or road to reach the Kumbh Mela.
- Trains run on a regular basis to Prayag from where the distance to Kumbh Mela is about 3 Km. You can take Private taxis, buses and rickshaws from the railway station to reach Prayag.
- You can also go by foot to Kumbh ka Mela.
- At Prayagraj, you can take a boat to the Triveni Sangam, where the three holy rivers meet.
Note:
- As the Maha Khumb Mela is held every 12 years it is one of the largest festivals and involves a large crowd, and there have been many stampedes in the past. Hence, be careful in the crowd.
- Take care of your belongings at the Kumbh Mela as there is no guarantee of theft.
- If you're lost or have got separated from your group. Visit the “lost and found” camps set up at the Kumbh ka Mela in different venues for help.
- During the Kumbh Mela the Hotels are fully booked, so it is advised to book your stay in advance.
