Karavali means the coastal area of Karnataka in Kannada Language. This region is known for its natural beauty. It also has unique cultural traditions and rich heritage. The Karavali Utsav celebrates our dance, music, culture, and nature. This festival has been around for over 30 years. It has grown to include many coastal districts of Karnataka. Traditionally, it was held at Karwar and Panambur Beach in Mangalore. Authorities are now plan to extend it to beaches like Kudle Beach. The festival highlights the best of our culture and region. It lasts 20 days. Local talent gets a chance to showcase their skills in sports and cultural activities. The Karavali Utsav celebrates Indian culture and unites people.
In 2024, Karavali Utsav will start from December 21. There will be beach festival held at Tannirbavi beach 1 on December 28 and 29.
On January 4 and 5, there will Automobile and Dog show at Kadri Park.
Yuva Utsav will be held at Kadri Park on January 11 and 12. In this event various college students will participate in cultural events.
There will be a kite Festival planned on January 18 and 19, 2025 at Tannirbavi beach 1 .
