The Kala Ghoda Association formed the idea of giving back to the city they call home by creating the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, India's biggest street art festival. This festival, the country's largest multicultural event, takes place every February and attracts a vast number of visitors from the city, all over India, and even from around the world. In 2025 the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival will take place in January and February. The dates have been announced. The Event is free to attend for all.

Children: We offer workshops for kids who want to explore their inner storytellers. These workshops cover the art of fantasy writing, illustrating, and creating photo stories. Children and young adults can unleash their creativity at the CSMVS Museum lawns and Kitab Khana, designated spaces for various activities like painting, creating, reading, writing, and having fun while learning. One of the main attractions is the display of Visual Art installations on the Museum lawns, which are created by the children themselves.

Cinema: At CSMVS, Coomaraswamy Hall and Visitors' Centre turn into captivating mini theatres that draw cinephiles seeking a unique movie experience. The cinema section offers a diverse range of films, from impactful documentaries to entertaining Bollywood flicks, catering to all tastes. Renowned figures from the film industry, such as Farah Khan, Boman Irani, Ramesh Sippy, Rajkumar Rao, Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and more, have graced the stage for engaging in panel discussions on cinema that have mesmerized the audiences.

Dance: The dance section represents youthfulness, a longing to explore and fulfill dreams. We embrace the kinesthetic energy of dance, and the performances aim to express boundless vitality, creating an infectious environment where everyone can sit back and enjoy all forms of dance. During the evenings at the festival, India's rich traditional dance forms will be juxtaposed with contemporary steps, delighting audiences of all ages.

Food: This section is all about deliciousness, offering a series of master-chef workshops that highlight various cuisines. On the weekends, we organize food walks, taking you to discover some hidden gems in the area. Additionally, many neighboring restaurants participate by presenting a special KGAF-themed menu with unique dishes curated exclusively for the festival, different from their regular offerings.

Literature: The audience will experience writing, reading, and a generation of ideas through literature in the tranquil garden courtyard at the David Sassoon Library, transitioning from the lively energies of the Arts Festival. The sessions for Children's Literature take place at Kitab Khana.

Stand-up comedy: The stand-up comedy section presents the city's topmost comics, who humorously tackle current topics. On the stage, you'll find both new and upcoming comics, as well as seasoned and famous ones. So, come and experience the joy of comedy and fall in love with the laughter!

Music: The Music section unites people who share a common language - the language of music. The lineup features various genres and provides a platform for both popular artists and folk musicians who have equally captivated audiences. Imagine listening to the master playing his sitar under a starlit canopy, with trees and heritage buildings as the backdrop. What makes the music section even more special is its unique locations - Cross Maidan and the Asiatic Library Steps.

Theatre: The Theatre section at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival has always been focused on bringing about change through performances, more than any other art form, especially in India. They showcase Hindi and regional theatre productions that both inspire and entertain the audience.
