Silk Farm Yercaud is a sericulture tourism point set up between Rose Garden and Lady's Seat Point. This farm is set up with an educational purpose tell people about how the Silk farming is done. This farm offers visitors to witness the all stages of silk production, what are the various stages of silk worm, how mulberry trees are grown etc. The Silk Farm is a peaceful place with lots of green mulberry trees. You can hear the soft rustling of the leaves, making it a calm and relaxing spot to learn about silk.

Staff will guide you all along so that you can understand the stages easily. 

Apart from silk production this farm also has various science and optical illusion projects like Newton’s Cradle, Snake Pendulum, Gravity Well, Infinity well, Optical Illusion, Augmented reality and Virtual reality videos are provided in order to cover the kids to understand the scientific reasons behind them.
