Bharat Parv 2025, themed ‘Dekho Apna Desh’, showcases India's cultural and culinary diversity in an immersive six-day event. Organized annually since 2016 as part of the Republic Day celebrations, this vibrant festival takes place from January 26 to 31 at the Lawns and Gyan Path in front of the Red Fort, New Delhi.

This event, spearheaded by the Ministry of Tourism, invites citizens to discover the richness of Indian culture through performances, food, handicrafts, and interactive activities.


Bharat Parv 2025 Event Details:

  • Dates: January 26 (5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and January 27–31 (12:00 Noon to 9:00 PM).
  • Entry Fee: Free for all.
  • Location: Lawns and Gyan Path, Red Fort, New Delhi.

Things to Explore at Bharat Parv 2025:

  1. Food Stalls:
    • 59 food stalls featuring cuisines from various states, Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM), and live cooking demonstrations at studio kitchens.
  2. Handicrafts and Handlooms:
    • 70 stalls showcasing products by the Development Commissioners of Handloom and Handicrafts, KVIC, TRIFED, and Tihar Jail.
  3. Tourism Pavilions:
    • 34 State Tourism Pavilions and 24 Central Ministry Stalls promoting regional attractions and heritage.
  4. Cultural Performances:
    • Choreographed dances by North Zonal Cultural Centre troupes.
    • Performances by regional associations such as Kannada and Gujarat Associations.
    • Special appearances by popular artists.
  5. Republic Day Tableaux:
    • A grand display of Republic Day tableaux and performances by the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Paramilitary Bands.
  6. Activity Zone:
    • Engaging activities such as Nukkad Natak, quizzes, painting competitions, and DIY experiential zones.
    • Involvement of Tourism Yuva Clubs and school/college students.

The festival features contributions from:

  • State/UT Tourism and Culture Departments.
  • 22 Central Ministries, including Defence, Railways, Ayush, Culture, and more.
  • Organizations like Tihar Jail, Aga Khan Trust, and educational institutions such as IHM Pusa and FDDI.

Theme & Public Engagement:

The theme ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ encourages citizens to explore India’s heritage and participate in the People’s Choice Voting, highlighting popular destinations. Voting can be accessed via a QR code or online at Dekho Apna Desh Voting Link.
