The entire trek takes almost 8 to 10 days to complete from the starting point Jaon Village to the end point Shrikhand Mahadev and the distance approximately takes 35 to 40 km.
Shrikhand Mahadev Trekking Path
The starting point of the Shrikhand Mahadev Trek is Jaon Village. You can set your base camp in Bharmour which is the first major stop for the trekking. The second major stop is Kaliamba Which is approximately 3500 m high. You can enjoy the dense forest and alpine meadows. From Kaliamba you can trek to Kharshali Which is around 3900 m. Then the next stop is Thachru which is 4200 m high and you can enjoy the great view from here. Then comes the final step of the trekking Shrikhand Mahadev which is located at an altitude of 5290 m. The natural snow Shivling at the Shrikhand Mahadev Temple is a major highlight.
