After a successful run of Kochi Biennale, for the first time Bengal has come up with the idea of Bengal Biennale that's debuting this year in November.
Bengal Biennale will be held at 20 different venues in Santiniketan and Calcutta with over 100 artists.
There will be conversations, workshops, musical and theatrical performances and much more. Get ready to experience the two-months long journey filled with art, expression and community spirit.
The Bengal Biennale will be inaugurated on November 29, 2024 at 11 am. Entry is free for all.

Things to Explore at the Bengal Biennale
Horse Installations: there will be installations of 60 Bankura horses that will be painted by Art college students thereby displaying the work of young artists at different places.
Fellowship Program: Youngsters selected under the age of 25 will be given an opportunity to get hands-on experience in exhibition setup, display, etc in the four-month Curatorial fellowship programme with incentives.
Rare Works: The Bengal Biennale would showcase the works of Gaganendranath Tagore and Abanindranath Tagore. You can also explore the artwork of youngsters.

Bengal Biennale Curatorial Fellowship
Individuals aged 25 and below can now be a part of the Bengal Biennale through the fellowship program and get hands-on experience in art curation.
The internship will be for 3 months with paid stipends where 12 individuals will be selected by BBCF.
