Malayala Manorama is organizing a new Art & Literature festival called Manorama HORTUS in Kozhikode, Kerala. The festival is named after an ancient plant book called Hortus Malabaricus from the 1600s.
The event is set to take place from October 28- November 10, 2024 along Kozhikode Beach, which was recently named City of Literature by UNESCO. The festival will happen across eight different locations near the beach.
The debate session will start from November 1 where more than 400 writers and artists from India and other countries are coming together in 130 sessions.
One of the biggest Book Festivals named Pustakshala will be inaugurated by Author M Mukundan on October 26. Visitors can explore a massive book fair featuring 300,000 books and enjoy an art exhibition organized by the Kochi Biennale Foundation. This festival aims to create a space where people can celebrate books, arts, and culture together in Kerala's rich cultural setting.
