Finally, the wait is over! Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh now has another adventure to experience. The hot air balloon ride has now been launched in Padmapuram horticulture botanical Garden in the Araku Valley, ASR district.
The Hot air balloon is expected to go up to a height of around 200 m to 300 m with a slight swing.
On 12 October 2024, the project was launched for a trial run where a number of tourists were taken up in the hot air balloon.
The government of Andhra Pradesh is expecting a larger number of tourists this winter, thereby Launching this project. In order to enjoy the auto balloon ride, you will have to buy tickets for an amount of ₹1500 - 2000. There are also plans to launch paramotoring at the botanical Garden.

If you're planning to have some good time with your family or friends, you must visit the Padmapuram botanical Garden which is located 2.5 km away from the bus station in Araku Valley. You can plan a picnic or take children for a fun day at this garden. It is a great place for nature lovers who would like to spend some time relaxing.
You can experience flowers, various trees, plants and also a toy train facility that takes you around the garden. There is also a small rose garden at the Padmapuram botanical Garden.

About Padma Puram, botanical Garden
This garden spread over and 26 acres of land was started during World War II for the purpose of producing vegetables and fruits for the soldiers, and as time went on, it was developed into a beautiful rose garden. You can experience a rose garden, jackfruit tree, beautiful statues, dinosaur replicas, tree tops, and a toy train.
