It is a popular Jain pilgrimage center that has 4 ancient Digambar temples built between 12th & 14th century. These small Jain temples belonged to Bhagwan Chandranatha, Bhagwan Parshwanatha, and Bhagwan Suparshwanatha.

Things to Explore at Mandaragiri Hills 

  • Manastambha, a beautifully carved pillar similar to those in the thousand pillars temple at Moodabidri.
  • To the right of the Manastambha stands a tall statue of Chandranatha Tirthankara.
  • 81 Feet Guru Mandir, shaped like a peacock feather fan (pinchi) carried by Jain munis. The dome served as a meditation center.
  • Serene Mydala Kere lake, surrounded by dense forest and hills, perfect for a peaceful morning.
