From Dehradun you can take bus/cabs to reach Mussoorie. Busses are available from Dehradun Bus stop situated near Dehradun Railway station. Tickets are to be bought from the bus stop counter before taking the bus. 

If you have high budget then you can also take private cabs available right opposite to Dehradun Bus stop. 

From Mussoorie to Kempty Falls

By Road: You can take a cab to reach Kempty falls from Mall Road as it is about 13 kms away. You can book cabs for both ways as you might not find cabs from Kempty falls easily. 

You can also rent a bike/ scooty to reach Kempty falls however please note that the roads are narrow and sloping. If you are a good rider and can handle bikes well only then take a ride to Kempty falls. 

You can park your vehicle at the top point from there you have to reach the lower point of Kempty falls. 

To reach the lower point of Kempty falls you can either take a walk down the steps through the market. Steps can be tiring while you're returning so if you don’t want to walk then you can take a Ropeway ride for both sides that will also give you a Birds Eye view of the Kempty falls.
