Jhandewalan Temple sits on Jhandewalan Road, on the route to Karol Bagh, Delhi. It's one of Delhi's oldest temples, dedicated to Maa Aadi Shakti, the powerful divine figure in Hinduism. The upper part of the temple holds the idol of Mata Jhandewali, alongside Saraswati and Kali. Other Gods' idols are also present there. At ground level, you'll find the original idol of Jhandewali Mata, where people perform puja. Additionally, there's a beautiful Shiv temple nearby for performing Shiv Puja. During the Vasanti Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri, thousands of devotees flock to the temple seeking blessings from Maa Jhandewali.

About Jhandewalan Mandir

In the temple, you'll see idols of Maa Jhandewali Devi, Maa Gufaawali Devi, and a beautiful darbar of Maa Santoshi. There are also idols of Santoshi Mata, Lakshmi Mata, Ganesh Ji, Gau Mata, and Hanuman Ji. Two eternal flames burn in front of Maa Gufaawali Devi, and there's a pillar of light where a flame is always lit. Inside the cave, there's an ancient Shiva Linga and the Shiv Parivar. On the first floor, there's a stunning Shivaleya. Additionally, there's a temple of Maa Kali on the other side. The temple has 30 priests and 100 employees to manage all activities day and night.
