Lotus Temple Delhi Structure
The Lotus Temple in Delhi has three layers of nine petals each when viewed from the top. These layers are raised on podiums, making the building taller. The first two layers curve inward, covering the inner dome, while the third layer curves outward, forming a roof over nine entrances.
Because the design of the Lotus Temple has no straight lines, constructing the building with its complex curved surfaces was a challenging task for the architect, technicians, and everyone else involved.

The Lotus Temple in Delhi covers 26 acres of land and includes several parts: the main worship building, an administrative building, a library, a reception center, and restrooms. The main worship area is shaped like a lotus flower. Inside, the central hall of the Bahai temple is about 40 meters tall and can hold up to 2500 people.
