Usmanpura Riverfront Park

The Usmanpura Riverfront Park is among the numerous public gardens established as part of the riverfront development project. Its goal is to convert the park into an urban retreat and enhance the green space network on the western side of the city. Spanning 1.85 hectares, the park offers visitors a chance to reconnect with nature amidst the urban landscape.


Shahibaug Riverfront Park

Situated on the opposite bank of the Sabarmati Ashram, the Shahibaug Riverfront Park spans 6.2 hectares and features a lengthy green stretch extending 1.5 kilometers. It offers various attractions including walking areas, a sundial, an amphitheater, a thought garden, children's play areas, street food stalls, and shopping plazas. Visitors can unwind and relax in one location. The park is positioned between Subhash Bridge and Dadichi Bridge.


Riverfront Flower Park

The Riverfront Flower Park invites visitors to experience the beauty of nature with its diverse array of flowers, inspiring feelings of joy and happiness. Located near Ellisbridge, this garden boasts over 72 varieties of flower species. What sets it apart is its unique categorization based on fragrance, theme, leaf color, and other factors. Spanning 3.85 hectares, the park also features a valley of flowers, providing a stunning collection of flowers in one place.


Atal Bridge

The Atal Bridge, an iconic landmark, is the first of its kind in the country, designed to link the west and east sections of the Sabarmati Riverfront. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of kite flying during Uttrayan celebrations, the bridge's design and colors mirror the hues of kites. Providing a unique experience of walking above the river, this glass bridge spans between the Sardar Bridge and Ellis Bridge. Dedicated solely to pedestrian traffic, it also offers seating areas for people to admire the river's beauty. Additionally, various trees have been planted to add greenery to the bridge's surroundings.


Riverfront Biodiversity Park

Spanning 9 hectares, the Riverfront Biodiversity Park offers an ideal sanctuary for both migratory and resident bird species. Situated near the Vasna Barrage and Ambedkar Bridge, it hosts over 5,000 trees, including endangered species. This park provides citizens with a tranquil space to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature.


Riverfront Children Park

The Riverfront Children Park, near Dafnala, is all about kids having fun and growing up healthy. It's a small park, about half a hectare big, with lots of things for kids to play on like slides, swings, and seesaws. There's also a special fountain that plays music for kids to dance to. And for everyone else, it's a nice place to relax, listen to music, and forget about worries for a while.


B. J Park

B. J Park is a 1.7-hectare urban park situated between Ellis Bridge and Nehru Bridge on the west side of the Riverfront. It boasts over 170 trees, some of which are nearly 50 years old and are well looked after. This park has provided a precious green space in the heart of the city, promoting community involvement. It features various attractions including walking paths, a children's play area, an open-air gym, and a fountain.

Those arriving by air can easily reach the Sabarmati Riverfront from the Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport, situated approximately 3 kilometers away. A direct route from the airport's Airport road connects to the Riverfront road, making it a convenient option for travelers.

For Road:

Accessing the Sabarmati Riverfront by road is straightforward. Visitors can utilize Riverfront road, the primary road running along the Sabarmati's banks. The eastern side of the Riverfront road is easily accessible via the Airport road, located about 4 kilometers from the airport. Additionally, the western bank of the Riverfront can be reached via Ashram Road.
