The first Hyderabad Book Fair happened in 1985 at the City Central Library in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad. It started small, with only a few important publishers and booksellers taking part. But, it got a huge response from book lovers and people in Hyderabad. Over the years, the Book Fair moved to different places like Nizam College Grounds, Public Gardens, Exhibition Grounds, and Keshav Memorial High School Ground. It's been held at Telangana Kala Bharati (NTR Grounds) for the last four years. In a short time, the Hyderabad Book Fair has become really famous all over India.
