Ekamra Utsav is a 13 days festival to be celebrated from January 5 to January 16. The venue of the festival is IDCO Exhibition ground, Bhubaneswar.
This festival will showcase the traditions and culture of Odisha through various dance forms, art, language, literature, food, etc. Ekamra Utsav is an event that highlights various fields to promote Odisha's vibrant textile industry and cultural heritage. The name "Ekamra" comes from a mythological story about Lord Shiva meditating in a mango tree-filled forest called 'Ekamra Kanan' to find a peaceful place for meditation. The festival aims to showcase Odisha's rich traditions in a colorful way.

- The food festival will be held at the IDCO exhibition ground Showcasing Odia, cuisines, north Indian South Indian and international food.

Ekamra Walks - This has to be booked through separate website. You need to choose the type of walk. Duration is around 3 hours and Entry fee for this is 100 for each type of walk.
Ekamra Utsav 2025 Events
- Story Festival: It will be reopened from January 5, 2025. Major Details are to be out soon.
- Bhuban E Swar: It is the main event and in this people will experience the performances of artist from around the world. Various renowned artist from Indian cinema will also be chief guest.
- Lok Utsav: It is held to celebrate the Odia language, culture and literature. Carnival will be celebrated on majr streets of city.
- Ama Byanjan: Original odia food recipes will be prepared during this food fest.
